The Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development of the American Hospital Association, or SHSMD, as we found to be a useful acronym, contacted us back in October 2015. Their request was simple: “20th Anniversary Video” but we soon realized this would not be a run-of-the-mill anniversary video, and we felt inspired.

Kocsis Technologies, Inc. first contacted us back in November 2014. At that time, they were looking to complete a rebrand initiative with a new logo, refreshed website, and updated marketing collateral, which was to include a video. After an initial meeting and creative collaboration session, KTI opted to revisit the project in a year, when they would be able to focus their efforts specifically on the video aspect. Fast forward to January 2016, where the two teams met again to begin the project, full-steam ahead.

April Showers Bring…

By Michelle Maslanka • Producer

If you said May flowers, you would be correct! But if you said more opportunities to capture outdoor footage, you would also be correct. While we love the four seasons of Chicago weather, and each provide their own beautiful backdrop for video, springtime begins the long-awaited shift into warmer weather and greenery in bloom. And with spring in full swing, and May around the corner, we wanted to put together a few tips for successful outdoor productions. I met with Craig Bass, Creative Director, for his insight on the topic.

Client Profile + Behind the Scenes: Les Turner ALS Foundation

By Michelle Maslanka • Producer

When the Les Turner ALS Foundation reached out to us in November 2015 to create the video for their annual “Hope Through Caring Gala” event, we were honored, and immediately pursued the opportunity. It was just a few months earlier in July that we completed our first video with the Foundation, the ALS Walk for Life video, used to harness awareness, support, and participation for their annual Walk for Life event that occurred in September. To be able to join the forces of our two teams once again was an exciting moment.
