Last night, Motion Source held an official launch party of the Motion Source studio located in Brookfield, IL. Guests stopped by to tour the space, enjoy food and drinks, and network with fellow Chicagoland filmmakers!

We were grateful to have a number of wonderful vendor partners come out including Camera Ambassador, Zap Props, MoPro Chicago, and Levinson Locations, each showcasing their products and services. Camera Ambassador demoed gear, including a Canon C300 and Arri Alexa Mini. Zap Props displayed out-of-this-world props, including a full-size astronaut suit. MoPro Chicago and Levinson Location made a perfect team showing off their beautiful production motorhome.

Musical guest Sleeping With Spiders serenaded the crowd with a set on the roof, while Ofrenda Taco Truck supplied everyone with delicious food.

A special appearance was made by The HSPPA (The Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association), who displayed a range of screen-used horror and sci-fi props and wardrobes.

Congratulations to all of the raffle winners, including Grand Prize winner Megan Jedrysiak, who won the full day studio rental!
