Drew is a film and video game enthusiast from the small town of Flanagan, Illinois. Growing up, television and computer screens were a constant presence alongside the open cornfields and the vast horizons beyond them. Whether it was the Shrek DVD menu on its 100th loop at midnight, playing Diablo 2 all summer long with his cousin, or chasing fluttering butterflies with a giant net, for Drew the engagement with both art and nature has always been there. As a result, he has gained a natural curiosity about the world and an interest in exploring, experimenting, and learning anything new. Thus, a jack of all trades was born, you can find Drew drafting copy, volunteering as a film critic, holding a camera, working in the garden or shoveling chicken manure - all worthy deeds for any dedicated adventurer.

  • Enjoys pickling and fermenting all kinds of things. Sauerkraut, onions, carrots, pickles, and mead -  just to name a few! 

  • Was the county bug collecting champion for back to back years

  • Loves a good concert, whether it’s professionals or karaoke regulars performing. 

  • Can be found experimenting with different art mediums - sculpting, painting, woodcarving, sketching, photography, etc. 

  • Always up to challenge the mind, hopes to someday be able to read philosophy books without help guides.
