Les Turner ALS Foundation
Nonprofit

After collaborating on a very successful outreach video for the Les Turner ALS Foundation’s Walk for Life event, we have continued our partnership on three additional projects; and, there always seems to be another around the corner! These fundraising videos premiere at the organization’s annual Hope Through Caring Gala, and have consistently garnered a powerful response from their audience. We can only take so much credit for the potency of these videos, as it is truly the stories of the brave participants that serve as the foundation for such inspiring content.

With the 2018 video, the Les Turner ALS Foundation wanted to highlight the incredible work that they were engaged in through the Les Turner ALS Research and Patient Center at Northwestern Medicine, via a very special patient, Mr. Daryl Carradine. To capture Daryl’s story we utilized a cinematic docu-style approach, providing insight into his daily life through evocative visuals. A focused interviewed centered around Daryl served as the core of the narrative, which was rounded out by supplementary interviews featuring caregivers and doctors. Using first-hand accounts is so very important for a piece like this, as they provide a earnest testament to the difference that the organization can make in each of the lives that it touches. And, as always, we consider it a great honor to be involved with a small part of making that difference.
