The Profit is a hit TV show that follows multibillion-dollar CEO, Marcus Lemonis, as he heals broken businesses. It’s a fascinating look into what it takes to survive and thrive in the current economic climate; so fascinating, in fact, that The History Channel decided to export the show to Latin America. This move necessitated the creation of short promotional videos and TV commercials for the new market.

The History Channel Latin America reached out to Motion Source to assist with making these promotional pieces a reality. As the client would only be in town for the very brief period of production, it was essential that Motion Source align every aspect for a successful production. This meant everything from the obvious--assembling one of our top-notch crews--to acquiring the perfect shooting location, arranging a delicious, yet nutritious, catering spread, and even the creation of the video’s hero-prop: The Money Chair. Yes, folks, we had the rare pleasure of constructing a veritable throne out of over 800 stacks of government-approved prop $100 bills. Life is fun like that sometimes.
