Our latest project with long-standing client, the Les Turner ALS Foundation, wrapped up about a month ago, and it took us on an emotional journey like no other. This marked our fourth “Hope Through Caring” project together, and we wanted to create something different with just as much impact. One of the Gala’s honorees, Mindy Evans-Williams, was to be featured in the video. Her incredible, unique story and the theme of “paying it forward” inspired an approach we had not taken on past projects.
Midtown Athletic Club recently renovated and reopened their signature club in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. With this new renovation came the need to hire a slew of new energetic associates to staff the sports resort. To that end, Motion Source was hired to help achieve this goal through video.
We learned there was a lot more to boxes than meets the eye in the latest Fibre Box Association project. In fact, it’s not just a brown box; it’s a corrugated package, designed to safely ship and protect goods all over the world. Take a behind-the-scenes look at how this out-of-the-box project was created, packaged, and delivered!
Artists draw inspiration from other artists all the time, especially when working in a different art form as their inspiration. Take the latest Hessler music video for example. The band’s newly-released single, “Akira” was inspired by the Japanese manga of the same name. This manga was also released as an animated film, Akira, in 1988. And now, in 2018, take a behind-the-scenes look at how this story manifested into a music video adaptation!
Many people send out greeting cards of good wishes this time of year. Seeing as video is our specialty, we chose this medium to spread holiday cheer! Featuring holiday food and drink favorites like peppermint bark, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies, this year’s video card set out to whet the audience’s appetite. Go behind the scenes with us as we share with you how the video was cooked up. ‘Tis the season to be joy-full!
The Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development of the American Hospital Association, or SHSMD, as we found to be a useful acronym, contacted us back in October 2015. Their request was simple: “20th Anniversary Video” but we soon realized this would not be a run-of-the-mill anniversary video, and we felt inspired.
Kocsis Technologies, Inc. first contacted us back in November 2014. At that time, they were looking to complete a rebrand initiative with a new logo, refreshed website, and updated marketing collateral, which was to include a video. After an initial meeting and creative collaboration session, KTI opted to revisit the project in a year, when they would be able to focus their efforts specifically on the video aspect. Fast forward to January 2016, where the two teams met again to begin the project, full-steam ahead.
Our clients come in all shapes and sizes, and we thrive on that kind of diversity. Each project we take on presents a new opportunity to create something special. And, whether big or small, our end goal is always to successfully complete each project; however, to do that, we need our clients’ help. That’s why we have put together a few tips that will help guide clients down the path of success!
When the Les Turner ALS Foundation reached out to us in November 2015 to create the video for their annual “Hope Through Caring Gala” event, we were honored, and immediately pursued the opportunity. It was just a few months earlier in July that we completed our first video with the Foundation, the ALS Walk for Life video, used to harness awareness, support, and participation for their annual Walk for Life event that occurred in September. To be able to join the forces of our two teams once again was an exciting moment.
